After kicking her boyfriend into touch on live television Katie Price remains in Australia. She's not wasting her time though - ker-ching - she's filming bits for her ITV2 reality television show.

One of the scenes Katie hopes to film is a showdown with her now ex boyfriend Alex Reid. Some people, it appears, will do anything for money.

Katie has been re-negotiating her I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! contract so that she can return to the UK, hopefully (as far as she is concerned) by this weekend - flights permitting. She wrote on Twitter, "At last I got out my contract I'm coming home to my children soooo excited."

As there has been a bit of a lull, television-wise, with I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! a bit of news about an ex contestant Cerys Matthews.

Cerys has just given birth to a premature baby - eight weeks early - both are reportedly doing well.

The baby, who hasn't been named as yet, is Cerys' third child but the first with her current boyfriend / manager 49 year old Steve Abbott.

Jedward For The Jungle - Surely Not

They would be mad if they did, but the rumours are that the I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here bods want Jedward (John and Edward of X Factor fame) to replace Katie Price in the jungle. They have been reportedly offered £50,000 each to do so.

Crazy or what?

John supposedly asked: "Can we do that? Are we celebrities?" Well it hasn't stopped many other z-listers signing up on the chance that it could give them a career boost.

Now that Katy has left I'm A Celeb who is there, already in the jungle, to entertain us? Mmmmm, a difficult one.

You can see why the producers are scratching around for a big or controversial name to stimulate interest. And, whatever anyone thinks of Jedward, they would create an interest. But if they did enter the jungle they would surely be making a wrong move - even for £50,000.

The Katie Price Show is no more! She's packed her jungle bags and has left the I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! show.

She simply said, "I just don't wan't to be here any more." The final straw being voted yet again for a bushtucker trial.

ITV would only say, "Katie Price has left the jungle," and added that there are "no current plans" to replace her.

Regarding the Bushtucker Trial she was nominated for, along with Joe Bugner, Katie Price said, "Someone else has to do it. I'm just not doing it any more. Everyone else, give them something to do. You've seen me struggle, you've seen me cry, shake, want to die. Do you know its mentally torturing? I’m starting to feel a bit sick. I really don't want to be doing this. I miss my children. I’m hungry. I want a nice bed and I don’t want to have to put myself through these horrible challenges."

So should we all feel sorry for Katie? Well, no.

More than anyone else she knew full well what she was getting into and was also being paid loads of dosh for her jungle exploits. Most of us would be chuffed to bits to earn £350,000 for three weeks work.

It's another Jade Goody scenario. You don't move forward by doing what you've already done. Returning to Big Brother destroyed Jade and, who knows, what will happen now to Katie. Sometimes the public won't forgive.

Hopefully some of the other contestants will now take center stage in I'm A Celeb and will be given an opportunity to shine.

No Alcohol For Katie Price On I'm A Celebrity

It's said that Katie Price wanted alcohol banned from the jungle, just in case she does / says something that she shouldn't.

As she put it, "I'm Katie Price, but whenever I've had a drink everyone says I become Jordan. Everyone changes when they've had a drink. They get more confident. When I've been drinking, I like to take my clothes off. Don't ask me why."

A diva she may think she is but it would be unfair to ban the others from a bit of booze - if that's what they want. And anyway we've all seen Katy without her clothes, haven't we?

Perhaps she should drink to make her next bushtucker trial more interesting, her sixth on the trot. It looks like she'll be doing them all until she's evicted. Though Kim and Joe must be getting on viewers nerves by now.

Welcome to the Katie Price Show. Sorry, meant I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! But it does seen as if she has taken over the show at the moment - and what's more the bookies haven't made her the first to be evicted. Guess they realise that the I'm A Celeb producers won't let this happen by careful editing.

At the moment they reckon Sabrina Washington is favourite to be the first to be sent packing, followed by Camilla Dallerup, Justin Ryan and Colin McAllister ... and then comes Katy at 7/1 if you want a bet.

As for the Katy Price Show, she says that she is in the jungle for two main reasons, in her words:

1. "This (I'm A Celeb) is a job for me - I'm a single mum who works to support her family and the money they were offering was very hard to turn down."

2. "If the way to get the public to like me again is to put me through my paces in the jungle, then that's what I'll have to do."

As far as the other bit players, Kim did well in her trial. She's got guts and got stuck in and won the maximum stars. Though she'll no doubt get on everyone nerves in the end and does seem obsessed with her boobs.

And back to the Katy Show: What has happened to her top lip? She has the look of a duck billed platypus about her and keeps covering her mouth to disguise this. Something not quite right.

Well you've got to hand it to Samantha Fox on the first I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here show. There she was with no make up and a big water spider in her mouth - not exactly the image for a previous glamour girl. But she's got guts and did what she had to do in the challenges without any bother. She could go a long way in the show.

Otherwise the pneumatic Katie Price (or is she once again Jordan?) is getting all of the news coverage, what with an argument with the producers and alegedly ignoring fans in Australia.

She wrote on Twitter: "Never underestimate the pricey!! Another journey begins lol xxxx"

So why is she going into the jungle? Katie/Jordan said: "I'm going back in because it's an amazing experience, I'm a working mum and I want closure on the fairytale that I had,"

I've got no agenda, I'm not going to act any different, I'm just going to be myself. Obviously, six years on, I'm more mature, I'm wiser, and I shall just be myself. I don't think I've got any advantage over any other person going there, apart from I've experienced how hungry they really make you!"

I think there's a lot of people hoping she'll fall flat on her face - if that's physically possible for Katie, of course!

So that's eleven celebs. Erm, but what about the much heralded Katie Price, who hasn't joined the others as yet? Seems, or so the story goes, that she may be joining them after the first day - it's all a bit hush hush.

Katie is definitely not the other celebs favourite. There's resentment at what she is supposedly being paid. Colin and Justin have described her as 'unpleasant' and Camilla said that Katie could be a 'handful' - and she wasn't referring to her boobs.

Favourites to win the show, according to the betting odds, are Lucy Benjamin (that's her in her bikini enjoying Australia) and Jimmy White. Lucy has a decent fan base following her EastEnders stint.

Is it a publicity stunt? Or perhaps there is an element of truth in the story that Peter Andre is hoping to return to this years I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.

It's reported that Peter is discussing the possibility of returning to I'm a Celebrity with the show's producers.

The Daily Star says, "Andre is hoping that returning to the place he fell in love will help him recover from his failed marriage and allow him move on."

Ex I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here contestant Cerys Matthews has well and truly buried her relationship with Marc Bannerman - she's pregnant at the age of 40.

The father of the child is her manager 49 year old Steve Abbott and the couple are said to be delighted. They have been together since February.

Cerys is five months pregnant but didn't release the fact earlier because of medical concerns regarding her age. Everything is, however, going well. This will be her third child.

And so ends another series. The interesting bit is what happens next to the contestants. Who will be the winners and losers in real life? Who will make a mint and who will drop away into obscurity?

Nicola McLean and David van Day did a Celebrity Chest thingy in I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here where they had to clean a vehicle to find numbers. It resulted in Nicola getting quite dirty while wearing her bikini, much to male viewers pleasure.

David reckons he bonded with Nicola and that they should work together against favourite to win, Joe Swash. Perhaps a jungle little romance? In his dreams!

Nicola told everyone what David had suggested and they all agreed that DvD had a 'game plan'. Now there's a surprise that even a blind man would have seen. It is a game after all and the idea is surely to become the winner and King or Queen of the Jungle.

David did show his sensitive side though when a letter was read out from his two daughters. They wrote that: 'Your Bushtucker trials have left us laughing and extremely proud.' This brought tears to his eyes.

And it was goodbye to ex cop Brian Paddick as he left the camp after being voted out. It's still a puzzle as to how he got to such a high rank in the Police and doesn't say much for the standard required to gain such a position.

Timmy Mallet and Esther Rantzen Leave I'm A Celebrity

Thank goodness! The annoying Timmy Mallett has been evicted from I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here after a one against one Bushtucker Trial against Brian Paddick.

Glad he's gone but, as he's a vegetarian, it's not really surprising as the Trial was all about swallowing horrible insect and animal parts. As for Brian - how come he ever got to be a top cop? What a useless individual for such a high position, he's so weak minded. You can imagine other police taking the P out of him behind his back.

Esther Rantzen also went, again no big loss.

Lots of arguments went on about who should sleep where, mostly aimed at David van Day. The beds weren't really important, it was just a way of getting at David. A truce was later called and Nicola McLean actually talked and smiled with him!

Nicola claimed that her back was aching because she couldn't sit anywhere properly. All the fault of her big boobs but she did admit that it was her own fault. She didn't take sports bras to the jungle, which would have given her proper support, as she wanted to look nice!

Dani Behr Calls Carly Zucker Talentless

Even the already evicted Dani Behr reckons that Carly is 'dull and talentless'. She said, "Carly was so quiet you’d forget she was there. I didn’t know who she was. She didn’t have any hidden talents as far as I could see."

Dani seems to have been impressed by Nicola McLean's boobs and she may now have an enlargement op herself. She said that after her kids were born her C cup disappeared. Now her breasts are are nice but small!

She said about Nicola, "Meeting her changed me. We're really different but she's opened up my eyes to different things. She inspired me. I'd like her to win. Stressed Carly Zucker Stays In Jungle

I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here voters have seen through the likes of Dani Behr so she had to leave the jungle.

The attractive, but crying and dull, Carly Zucker managed to stay in by the skin of her teeth. Voters didn't react kindly to her 'stress because she has so much money' comment - see yesterday's post.

Well it wouldn't as they are trying to get 24 hours of stuff into an hour programme. Plus, of course, the producers have their 'favourites' to screen for various reasons.

As we all no doubt know Robert Kilroy Silk was the first to be voted out of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here last night.

I was surpised but the editing for the show was slanted to favour normally unfavoured contestants. David, for example. The producers obviously want him to stay in for a while and you can see their point.

If we had a group that consisted of the likes of Carly Zucker, Dani Behr and Simon Webbe it would all be deadly dull and uninteresting.

Carly is a nice girl, good to look at, but as dull as ditch water. And what's this rubbish about her being 'stressed' last year because of all of her (his, surely) money. How weak is it to say, "I had a massive house that I couldn't control or clean. It took all day."

She wants a kick up the backside for spouting such garbage. Her boyfriend earns in the region of $80,000 a week. Lots of viewers probably earn less in a year than he does in a day and yet she's stressed!

Why doesn't she get some staff and pay them above the average wage to look after the house? Why doesn't she ... well lots of things, lots of the world needs help.

No wonder that even Lily Allen has slammed the celebrity culture for the wrong influence it has on young people.

So who will be the next to leave the jungle. Logically Brian Paddick but voting is a funny old thing. Just look at what happened with John Sergeant! And, of course, everything is manipulated towards certain celebs and away from others.

Personally I'd like to see the back of Timmy Mallett. He's more annoying than many of the jungle bugs.

David van Day did okay in his I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Bushtucker Trial, which will be seen tonight. He managed nine stars and then spoilt it a little boasting, and at the same time knocking Nicola, by saying, "We’ll make a good meal out of it after three stars, God we’ll be full up … I shall be c*ck of the camp." The trial made him very smelly!

No Nicola McLean and David aren't the best of friends. She invited all of the contestants to her planned wedding - except for David and Timmy Mallett.

Tonight someone will be voted out. At the moment Brian Paddick is favourite with David not far behind in the betting stakes.

Joe Swash is still flattering Esther Rantzen, which does make some viewers cringe a little. He told her, "I think you’re a beautiful older lady with nice big boobies. If my wife looked like you when she gets to your age, I’d be over the moon, I’d be chuffed with that." Esther replied, "You are more than sweet to me." Ahhhh or Yukkk, depending on how you think of it.

There's been trouble in the I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here camp. One newspaper even said 'Mallett Bashed By WAG.'

Timmy Mallett, understandably, has upset a few of the happy campers, especially Nicola and Carly and the Daily Star wrote, 'Nicola McLean tried to knock him out.' But they are prone to exaggerate to make a 'good' story.

Some of the relatives of the contestants are arriving in Australia for when the evictions start. Layla Manoochehri, was noticeable, she is a member of the X Factor group Girlband and also Simon Webbe's girlfriend. She came with a warning to the jungle girls saying, "Keep your hands off my man."

Dani Behr has been a bit of a disappoinment so far in I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. She's one of the highest pid but hasn't contributed to much entertainment. Dani won't be up for the first eviction as she wone her Bush Battle against oldies George and Esther.

One thing we did learn about Dani was that when she lost her virginity she had to hide in a wardrobe afterwards as the bloke's girlfriend arrived home!

So David and Timmy say they want to be the next Ant and Dec - ha ha ha! David will be back in obscurity once he's left the jungle. He's not very nice is he? Though there may be a vulnerability underneath it all, perhaps that will win us over if it spills out.

Well no matter what the first impressions were of WAG Nicola McLean she did her camp proud in the Bushtucker trial. She got stuck into crocodile feet and other delicacies to beat the somewhat girly attempts by Joe Swash.

As for the other WAG, though a bit home sick, Carly Zucker also tried her best in the Celebrity Chest challenge against the awesome power of Martina Navratilova. Carly put up a good fight though.

Elsewhere we learnt that Esther Rantzen felt like walking out and Robert Kilroy-Silk was asking himself what he was actually doing there in the first place.

Oh yes, and Brian Paddick, after the gay vote, went naked in the shower. It seems they are pumping in warm water in the hope that the girls will follow suit.

And finally Joe Swash calls his manhood Alfie - not much you can add to that.

Well it had to happen, but much earlier than predicted. Yes ,we've had our very first jungle bikini shower scene. It looks like Nicola McLean is out to outdo Myleene Klass and Gemma Atkinson from previous years. No doubt it's one way to get the male vote, as long as she hasn't peaked too early.

And there will be more focus on Nicola tonight as she takes on Joe Swash for the I Scream Van Bushtucker Trial.

And for female viewers Simon Webbe stripped off for a wash.

So what do we gather from last night's first helping of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!

Firstly Martina Navratilova is going to be a contender for this series, she's not to be messed with. And George Takei might be in his 70's but seems to have a good attitude towards everything.

Looking at the contestants it's hard to pick out who will be sent packing first once the voting starts. Several could make interesting television, including the likes of the opinionated Robert Kilroy-Silk. If I had to pick the first it would probably have to be Esther Rantzen. Nothing ageist, but I can't see her developing into an interesting jungle mate. But it's early days and a lot depends on the editing by the producers.

As for the stomach churning moment so far it must be Esther offering a solution as to how to strain water. She told Robert, "I've got a clean pair of knickers with me."

I'm A Celebrity Favourites For Eviction

According to the bookies odds Nicola McLean's cleavage may not save her from eviction. They have her and Robert Kilroy Silk as joint favourites to be sent packing first at 20/1.

The favourite is still Joe Swash at 7/2.

It apears that when the celebs arrive in the jungle there will be two camps. A challenge will decide as to who goes into which camp.

The Home Camp is the best with decent sleeping arrangements and food. But as for the Away Camp things aren't so hot, with strange foods on the menu like emu and crocodile feet. No wonder they say that contestants may lose weight!

Gossip is that Carly Zucker is getting cold feet about the whole I'm a Celeb thing, especially as she's 'only' getting a reported £10,000. She's suddenly realised that she's not keen on creepy crawlies!

So Nicola McLean is under the impression that a lesbian style fling in the jungle wouldn't mean that she is being unfaithful to her boyfriend Tommy Williams. She may just be disappointed when she discovers that Martina Navratilova is the only fully fledged lesbian.

Nicola says that she would never cheat on her Tom and can easily handle going without sex for a few weeks as she once did so for 12 months.

Nicola's main worry is that she will lose weight while on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here and that her boobs will shrink from their 32G size. Most celebs lose at least a stone while on the show.

It is said that David Van Day, the Dollar singer, is in Australia and may be sent into the jungle after the initial ten are settled. We mentioned him as an I'm A Celeb possible a while back.

Joe Swash is the bookies favourite at the moment but a better impression will be gained as to what these 'celebrities' are really like after the show kicks off.

Brian Paddick has said that he's in the running to become a Lord! Perhaps the jungle will scupper his chances. What on earth is he doing on the show anyway? He's an ex-copper not a celeb.

There's a rumble in the jungle before I'm A Celeb has even started, and it's about money - now there's a surprise.

Nicola McLean has found out that her £7,500 ($12,750) wage is a mere pittance to what Dani Behr is getting. Dani is receiving £40,000 ($79,900).

Nicola is non to pleased, well actually she's furious and very jealous. Of course the thing is that she agreed to the contract a while back so hard cheddar. She's not exactly a big name and actually admitted, "Yes, I know I'm not a celebrity." See Introducing Nicola McLean.

There is obviously a range of salaries for the celebs based on what the producers see as their worth. Examples: Carly Zucker is on £10,000, Martina Navratilova £30,000, Esther Rantzen £25,000, Robert Kilroy Silk £15,000 and George Takei £20,000.

It seems that Carly Zucker sided with Nicola and had to be persuaded to stay. The producers emphasised how the I'm A Celeb exposure could possibly land her many lucrative deals. And surely this is why these celebs go on the show in the first place. They've seen what it's done for others.

What is a celebrity? Is Carly Zucker one for example?

I suppose being an I'm a Celeb contestant suddenly makes you one, even if you weren't previously.

Carly Zucker is a Fitness Instructor plus, of course, a WAG. She is engaged to Chelsea footballer Joe Cole and flashes a £50,000 ring. They are planning to marry in the summer of 2009.

She should be fit enough for the I'm A Celeb trials. She described her normal fitness regime:

"I walk the dogs every day. Joe and I enjoy doing that together. I probably do four gym sessions a week, 45 minutes to an hour each. I do free weights and cardio or core work. I eat sugar and I eat fat. I'm not on a particular diet. I just try to eat healthy natural British products rather than processed."

Why does she want to do I'm A Celeb?

When asked she replied, "Joe was keen for me to do the show. He's quite excited about everything. We've always said that as soon as he retires one of the things we'd like to do is go on safari and go and do bungee jumps and all crazy things that he can't do while he's a professional athlete. So I think by me doing this he's sort of living his part of his dream early by me doing it."

Maybe she should also have added, "To become a celebrity." Becoming the Queen of the Jungle could propel her to new heights - in more ways than one.

Carly reckons, "The public are going to realise I’m happy-go-lucky, relaxed, kind hearted and a people person really. But I’m not a typical girlie girl, I’m a dare devil."

She's already taking like a celeb - but we the public will draw our own conclusions in due course.

The gossip is that Jimmy Pursey has pulled out of I'm A Celebrity Get me Out Of Here before it's even started. It seems he didn't like being stereotyped as a trouble making punk.

Another name mentioned, in additon to those mentioned in the previous post, as heading for the jungle is Dani Behr (also aka Danni/Danny Behr). Guess she needs a career boost.

The producers like to cause speculation to boost the publicity for the show and there are often a few red herrings thrown out.

It will be interesting to see, when the line up is officially published, how accurate the gossip and rumours have been.

As the new series of I'm A celebrity Get Me Out Of Here approaches so does speculation about the line up. Gossip abounds but even And and Dec claim they don't know who'll be on their way to the jungle.

The latest name in the frame is Jo-Emma Larvin. She's the girlfriend of the boxer Jo Calzaghe and is in talks with the I'm A Celeb people. She's a former glamour model and could be one for the bikini showers. She is 27 and has been on television with Joe on the quiz Celebrity Mr and Mrs.

Others tipped strongly for the line up are Esther Rantzen, Candace Bushnell, Deena Payne, Shannon Elizabeth, Carmen Electra, Linsey Dawn McKenzie, Joe Swash, Dwain Chambers, Robert Kilroy Silk and Jimmy Pursey. But we shall have to wait and see how accurate this is.

The 2008 I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here is set to kick off on November 16th on ITV1 at 9pm.

The line up hasn't been announced but rumours are spreading, as you can see with previous posts on this blog.

The Daily Star today seems to think that punk rocker Jimmy Pursey could be thrown into the mix, but not right at the beginning. They hope he'll cause mayhem once the others have been in the jungle for a while. Jimmy was in Sham69 in the 70's, he now performs in Day 21

The Star also suggest Robert Kilroy Silk has been approached for I'm A Celeb 2008.

A new name has been put forward as a jungle contestant for the next I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. This time it's Donny Osmond.

It's been reported, unofficially, that Donny has signed up for the next series. He's had a similar experience as I'm a Celeb with a U.S. show called Celebrity Survivor where he and other celebs were stranded on an island and had to feast on bugs and the like.

Also, of course, Jimmy Osmond appeared in the jungle three years ago so can give his older brother some tips.

Negotiations are also going on with the ex model Paula Hamilton, who is 50, and Stephanie Powers who is 65!

Let's hope they are looking for some young blood as well. Both Paula and Stephanie were approached for earlier years but nothing came of the talks at the time.

The latest name being bandied about for the next I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here is Bobby Davro.

It appears that Bobby has been having talks with ITV and they have offered him £100,000 to appear. They tried to get him for the show a couple of years back byt failed.

So what will happen to his Eastenders role of Vinnie Monks while he's in the jungle? If he takes up the I'm a Celeb offer he'll leave the soap.

So far serious names for the next series are: Frankie Dettori, Esther Rantzen and Dwain Chambers. It doesn't exactly sound exciting so far does it?

But rumours and leaks aren't always the full story. Let's hope for some interesting names soon.

Names bandied about so far include: Dwain Chambers, Esther Rantzen and Frankie Dettori. They are, of course, all speculation.

A couple more to add to the list include a possible more glamouress duo Katherine Jenkins and Shannon Elizabeth.

Katherine Jenkins? Would she really do such a show? She supposedly told the Daily Star (not the most reliable tabloid!), "I love the outdoors and I don't have any demands when I'm performing. I only ask for water and tea."

Mind you what that has actually to do with I'm A Celebrity I've no idea. The Katherine Jenkins cleavage would however definitely brighten up the jungle!

As for the American Pie girl Shannon Elizabeth she reckons she's had a string of offers from the UK. But again this is not necessarily from I'm A Celeb. At the moment though she is competing in the World Series of Poker.

Surely Katherine Jenkins and Shannon Elizabeth are names to generate interest rather than likely contestants.

First thoughts are: Celebrity? Drugs Cheat! Failed at Hell's Kitchen!

Okay it's a while yet but there has been a bit of gossip about I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here 2008.

It seems that they are trying to get David van Day to sign up. He's the guy from the 80's who was in Dollar. He was also in ITV's Reborn In The USA when he had a big bust up with another contestant Sonia.

As to whether he could last without a hairdryer that is another matter!

I see that Marc Bannerman and Cerys Matthews have now gone their separate ways. You can read the full story here.

They did okay financially though after their I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here stint. It's reported that they made the best part of a million from interviews and pics in the glossy mags.

Marc can't go back to his ex Sarah Matravers as she has found herself a nice millionaire to keep her warm. Serves him right!

As expected Christopher Biggins was voted King Of The Jungle fortunately leaving Janice Dickinson and J Brown in second and third. Out of the three it had to be Biggins! So the bookies got it right.

Biggins burst into tears on hearing he had won but afterwards joked about the money he hoped to make. He thought that perhaps he could become a model for M&S like Myleene Klass. He laughed, "I buy my underwear from Marks. I should be the new model for the older, larger man."

Neil, Christopher Biggin's partner, was there to greet him. They went through a 'wedding' type ceremony last year.

So all ended happily with the right winner. Now if only Gemma Atkinson had a personality ... but, like J, nice and attractive but dull!

It's thought that Biggins will cash in considerably and should top a million earnings next year. The world is his oyster. Not bad for three weeks in the jungle.

Cerys Matthews family are hoping that she will take things slowly with Marc Bannerman. Marc hasn't exactly had the best publicity over the last few days.

His girlfriend, Sarah Matravers, has alleged that she was 'viciously beaten' by him during their stormy relationship. She claims she was so terrified at the time that she 'stuck her arm through a window pane' believing it was the only way to stop him beating her. She says, "There was a bruise on my back and I had ten stitches in my arm so it was pretty nasty."

Marc Bannerman has denied the assault.

Someone else has also cashed in and has claimed that Marc Bannerman was a 'real baddie.' This time it's singer Sophia Port who was in panto with him.

Sophia port said, "He’s 14 years older than me but he used to try it on with me all the time. I didn’t know he had a girlfriend until she started turning up to all the shows. She was always checking up on him. She used to wait outside every night to make sure he didn’t go out with the cast."

Also a 25 year old barmaid from Northampton, Meg Raphael, reckons she romped with Marc prior to him joining I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.

Let's hope Cerys Matthews knows what she is doing as she seems very vulnerable. It wouldn't be pleasant to see her hurt. Cerys told Anna Ryder Richardson, "I’m so excited now about life outside. I’m so excited about coming out and preparing for Christmas."

Fingers crossed that it doesn't all end in tears.

Can't understand why Lynne Franks doesn't get voted out, she must have some appeal to a lot of viewers. Katie Hopkins, who was voted out last night, has been quite pleasant and did her trial well. It looks like once you have a reputation it sticks with you in this years I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.

Anna must be keeping her fingers crossed that it's not her packing her bag tonight. What has she really done on the show? Not very much.

Marc Bannerman Evicted As Girlfriend Flies Home

Well nearly everyone got it wrong! Marc Bannerman was evicted from I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here last night. Lynne Franks and Katie Hopkins survive a little longer.

How come no one seemed to see Marc's eviction in advance? It even fooled the bookies and tabloids.

It must have been because of the fuss Sarah Matravers generated on seeing the latest of the Marc and Cerys Matthews love-in. Sarah has, after all, been with Marc for two years. She flew into Brisbane and then jetted back to London leaving Marc to it. He wants to go straight home and sort things out. Not sure his reception will be too good!

Is he now viewed as the bad guy in all of this? He did say, when talking about Cerys, "Nothing happened between us at all but it's really difficult not to crave a little bit of love." Strewth, he'd only been on the show for 12 days.

Otherwise it was all calm on the I'm A Celeb front. Oh, except for the bust up between Lynne, Janice Dickinson and John Burton Race of course. Please get Lynne out of the jungle - but voting will no doubt cause a few more surprises.

At last it's all getting a bit interesting.

Gemma Atkinson As Dull As Ditch Water

So it's voting for eviction time on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here. It's got to be Lynne Franks surely - please!

Mind you, if Gemma Atkinson wasn't so good looking, she would also be a contender for removal. She's been as dull as ditch water so far. She's also keeping well covered up, as are the other girls, because of all of the flies about in the camp. Gemma really needs something like a Myleene Klass shower moment to make herself seem interesting.

Sarah Matravers, Marc Bannerman's live-in girlfriend, has flown into Brisbane saying that her life is 'on hold' because of the Marc / Cerys Matthews situation. But, as she says, what can she do if he's fallen in love with Cerys. Or is everyone being manipulated? Sarah did seem very happy in herself when interviewed.

The bookies are giving 10/1 on Sarah slapping Marc's face when he leaves the show!

Favourite to be evicted first is, thankfully, Lynne with Katie Hopkins as second least liked. Katie, however, hasn't been too bad since she settled in.

At the moment Christopher Biggins is favourite to win but if Cerys 'falls for Marc' then who knows, she could be a winner. Read more about Cerys here, including photos from her singing days.

Good to see Jason doing something at long last and winning ten stars partnering Janice. He really needed this as he has been too much in the background. Not quite ditch water but not far from it.

Cerys Wants Marc To Dance Naked Before He Gets Into Her Bed

She's not happy! Marc Bannerman's wife Sarah Matravers, that is.

She said, "I want to march into the jungle, haul her out and say, 'He's mine, get off!' Cerys is a home wrecker."

It's all because Marc and Cerys Matthews flirting is getting hotter in the I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here camp.

Cerys told Marc, "If you can't sleep, right, come and tap me on the shoulder and you can get in my bed."

Marc answered, "So what will you do again? Run that by me again."

Cerys elaborated, "As long as you're naked, come up to my bed, tap on my shoulder, do a dance and then I'll get out. Get your clothes off, stretch, dance round the fire and say, 'I can't sleep on that hammock.' I'll go, 'All right handsome, do us a dance and I'll get in your hammock'. Then you get in my bed and go to sleep."

Marc confided in Jason, "Oh my god. Just makes my heart crumble. Oh..." And then he started to sing, "There may be trouble ahead, but while there's moonlight and music and love and romance."

"Really?" asked Jason.

"Yeah, mate," answered Marc.

So you can see why his wife Sarah might be a little miffed!

Celebs including Cerys Matthews and Jason said they would sleep all day unless they got treats to perk them up.

A couple of hours later a box of vitamin drinks was brought into camp. An I'm A Celeb bloke admitted, "It’s not something we do all the time. We just don’t want footage of them lying around asleep. It would be dreadful TV."

John Burton Race has won immunity from the first vote after staying in a Land Rover for six hours.

This was a Bush Battle where John, Jason, Gemma Atkinson, and Katie Hopkins had to see who could remain in the vehicle for longest to win the immunity. Katie remained for the second longest time but had to leave because of a call of nature.

I'm A Celeb Nudity And Other Peckers

No doubt it's where a lot of us hoped Lynne Franks would end up! Suspended over pecking ostriches.

Lynne had to do a Bushtucker trial with the plastic Janice Dickinson. Janice controlled the controls that swung Lynne over hungry ostriches - and, ha ha ha! - she had food strapped to her seat.

Between them the odd couple had to get eleven stars by Lynne picking them up with her feet in the ostrich compound. They managed seven, but slightly more cross words.

A Nude In The Jungle
Yes, the first full nude was in the jungle but, unfortunately for most I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here fans it turned out to be Rodney Marsh!

As for Gemma Atkinson the News of the World reckons she is now desperate for sex. They write today:

Are they just mirages? Jason Brown and Gemma Atkinson that is. The way in which I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here is edited neither of them have imposed their personality on the show. They both look very nice, but it would be good to see a bit more of them actually doing something.

Perhaps it's a tactic. Stay in the background, stay out of trouble and then become King or Queen of the jungle. Time will tell.

Rumour About Richard and Fred
It's reported that the Right Said Fred brothers Richard and Fred Fairbrass have secretly jetted in to Brisbane. They’re staying at the Palazzo Versace hotel until ... well, until they are needed for I'm A Celeb. You may remember they were tipped to be contestants.

Gemma Loves Marcus
It's been let out of the bag that Gemma Atkinson is still smitten by footballer Marcus Bent. She is said to be pining for the Wigan striker while in the jungle.

The necklace she wears (the one with the 'G') is said to be from him, a present for her 23rd birthday.

She's doing okay while she's in I'm A Celeb though as the lingerie brand Ultimo is launching a new Gemma Atkinson swimwear collection. For some reason her specially made bikinis have generated a lot of attention.

Marc and Cerys Saga
Mark Bannerman told Christopher Biggins about what his girlfriend will think of him and Cerys Matthews, "She will be jealous and stuff at home I think or she'll be fretting that I'm about to run off with someone else I think."

But then what does Marc do? He cuddles up cosily with Cerys and tells her, "Well, this is nice darling. Do you miss having a little cuddle? Out in the wilderness. You feel so lonely don't you?"

Is it any wonder that the left at home Sarah Matravers has steam coming out of her ears.

Biggins knows Victoria and David and he sums them up by telling Rodney Marsh, "I love personally Beckham. I don’t like her. Euch, she’s horrible, the way he conducts himself is fantastic. Exemplary."

The albatross that is Rodney has been talking about his views on women. he was talking tongue in cheek, at least in part when he asked, "What has a woman ever invented?"

He followed this up with other searching questions such as: "How many women scientists are there?" and "Would you fly a plane flown by two women?"

His final remark about childbirth didn't exactly endear him to the girls, "I don't think it can be too painful actually. You know when you break a leg playing football that's got to be more painful."

He then backtracked a little and said, "It's a joke. Women have no sense of humour."

Cerys And Marc Plus A Bugged Biggins

So Christopher Biggins was heading for I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here after all. In he walked and straightaway into a Bushtucker trial - fortunately for the other contestants.

The mouthy one, Janice Dickinson, was voted to do the trial but once again chickened out. She talks the talk but doesn't walk the walk.

Biggins did his best and won some food for the camp.

Otherwise what about the looks between Cerys Matthews and Marc Bannerman. No wonder Marc's girlfriend, Sarah Matravers, is getting a bit miffed watching. When talking about I'm A Celeb she said, "So get me in there and I'll throttle him."

She does admit though that, "Marc is a very tactile person and we all enjoy a good flirt."

But is getting together on Cerys's bed just 'being tactile'? The photo below shows them together. It's not over clear but it was night time!

There was nothing like this on the Apprentice for Katie Hopkins! Here she was on an I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Bushtucker trial getting into a coffin (1st photo).

The coffin was closed so there was no light and in poured 20,000 cockroaches (2nd photo). Once they were safely inside the coffin was on the move across the ravine (3rd photo).

Katie Hopkins showed guts and stuck it out for the full ten minutes winning ten meals for the camp. Well done Katie!

There seems to be two topics of conversation about I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. Firstly the bushtucker trial and secondly bikinis. The bikinis of Cerys Matthews and Gemma Atkinson, that is. Though to be fair we did have Anna Ryder Richardson trying to compete in her bikini - see yesterdays post.

And Gemma explained that she's not too keen on modelling, "Well I've just finished a British feature film and really enjoyed it. I just do modelling to fill in the dry patches. They always involve long days, getting hair and make up done - and I'm the complete opposite."

Gemma is turning out to be quite different to the image created by the tabloids.

Cerys Matthews Is The New Favourite (And With Marc!)

There is a new favourite to win I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here and that's Cerys Matthews. Her odds have been cut by the bookies - at William Hills, for example, it's now only 3-1 for her to win.

Viewers have liked what they have seen of Cerys and especially for the glimpses of her in her red bikini. The questions has been asked: Has she had a boob job?

There is also a budding relationship developing between Cerys and Marc Bannerman. Here they are getting quite friendly in the I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here photo below.

Marc has been to the Diary Room to try and explain things to his girlfriend - but he does get on well with Cerys. There is a definite spark.

Bushtucker Trial
Janice Dickinson beat Rodney Marsh in the last Bushtucker trial and didn't everyone know it! Poor old Rod looked quite deflated about 'being beaten by a woman'. He reckons his energy levels have dropped.

And now we've got to watch Janice all over again as she was voted to do the next trial as well. This time she's up against Crock Creek’s chef, the grumpy John Burton Race. Janice thinks she knows why she keeps getting picked. She said, it's because, "I’m more famous than the Pope." What is she on.

The next Bushtucker trial, between Jan and John, is the Sushi Train of Pain - eating live creatures! Should be interesting.

Jan has been talking to Gemma Atkinson about her boobs! "What!" she said, "They're not real? It looks so real."

So Gemma went on to explain about her silicone implants and why they look natural, "They are teardrop shaped, so they droop."

She also told Jan about how the operation left her unable to do anything for herself for two weeks.

She said, "I moved back in with my mum because I couldn't do anything, not even open the fridge. I couldn't brush my hair. I used to box, but I couldn't do that either." Did she really think she'd be able to box straight after the operation? Surely not.

All Change
The main change in the camps is that they are going to merge into one. This should make everything kick off a bit more as the celebs make new relationships.

Rodney asks Cerys to tell him about her relationship with the father of her kids, but she shakes her head. An uncomfortable silence falls, before she blurts out: "It just didn't work out."

Katie Hopkins Moves Into The Jungle

Overnight a new contestant has arrived in I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.

Katie Hopkins is the replacement in the Snake Rock camp for the running scared Malcolm McLaren. The good news is that it looks like Janice Dickinson approves of her!

Janice is obviously going to be good entertainment value whether you hate or love her. She's loud, argumentative, says what she thinks but ... underneath she's a bit vulnerable. She's not quite as hard as she presents herself.

She chickened out a little on the trial she did and also looked concerned when she knew she had to also do the next trial against Rodney Marsh.

Today though Janice has been back to annoying the others by giving out orders.

After the first few hours it seems like the nice guys are Marc and Jason and Cerys and Gemma for the girls. Things could change, of course, as we gradually get to know the contestants.

Anna Ryder Richardson may surprise us as she's determined to rival Gemma in the glamour stakes. She's thrown down the gauntlet by saying, "Anything you can do, I can do better," and her bikini is at the ready to prove it. She's already worn her leopard print bikini top. Cerys has been seen in red bikini bottoms.

I'm A Celebrity Starts With A 1000 Feet Bungee Jump

So I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here has kicked off and the television programme starts tonight on ITV1 at 9 pm.

The contestants have alreadsy made camp via kayak and 1000 feet bungee jumps out of a helicopter.

Anna Ryder-Richardson had to pluck up a lot of courage to follow Cerys Matthews and leap out of the helicopter. Understandably petrified tears were streaming down her face before she jumped.

Once Anna was lowered to the ground she said, "That was horrible, it was so horrible. I can't stand my legs are like jelly." She went on to say that it was worse than childbirth!

And to think Malcolm McLaren is now saying the programme is fixed. He also said, "The trials are tricks to fool the public about a danger that isn't there." Wonder if he's ever jumped 1000 feet out of a helicopter. The man is moaning because he chickened out.

Of course, the bushtucker trials are well planned and tested to ensure no one is dangerously hurt - but they still have to be done. McLaren won't be missed he's a bit too full of himself. He reckoned that I'm A celeb were paying him £350,000 so that 'they had at least one famous face.' There's not much to add to that is there? Him, a famous face?

The bookies early favourites to win are Gemma (9-2), Marc (11-2), Jason (11-2) and Cerys (7-1).

Malcolm McLaren Drops Out & Gemma Atkinson Makes A Splash

It appears that Malcolm McLaren has pulled out of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! He made Australia but seems to have bottled out following a Health and Safety briefing. He didn't like the sound of those snakes - he supposedly as a fear of them, oh, and he doesn't like heights.

We are not really surprised about this as our post Malcolm McLaren Is Getting Jungle Cold Feet from October 22nd mentioned how he had doubts about the show. We quoted an I'm A Celeb person, who then said, "We are doing all we can to keep him. It's touch and go as to whether he'll be in the final line up now." Looks like they didn't do enough!

Christopher Biggins may be the replacement.

In the meantime, as can be seen from the photo, Gemma Atkinson has been on the beach showing off her bikini in the Aussie sunshine. She made quite a splash!

So at last we have the official 10 contestants for I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!

They are pretty much as thought, though a few names are missing. Of course though, there could be a few surprises thrown in during the series and some names may be held in reserve.

The Daily Mail today writes about Koo Stark not being included in the final 10. There headline asks: Was Koo too posh for the jungle grub-grabbers? They say she had 'been dumped' because she wouldn't really fit in with the others - but isn't that a lot of the fun? The programme bosses say that Koo would be considered for 2008!

It's interesting that the batch of celebs they have finally settled on have an average of 45, with Gemma the youngest at 22 and Rodney the daddy at 63. You can see groups forming already.

The executive producer, Beth Hart says, "There will be no rules in camp this year. We will leave it to the celebrities to decide who sleeps where. We will be throwing surprises at them right from the word go."

We should know the full, official I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! some time to today. In the meantime contestants have been arriving in Brisbane, Australia. Some late negotiations are still taking place.

Gemma Atkinson arrived saying, "I'm looking forward to meeting some jungle hunks." She was followed by Jason "J" Brown who reckoned, "Gemma's got some great assets – I'm definitely going to throw myself at anything in there." He also went on to say, "As for Bushtucker Trials, I'm up for anything. I'll give it all a go. I'll have a nibble on a crocodile's nadger – just as long as it's not an elephant's!"

The grape vine is going mad guessing the I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here line up.

Yesterday we mentioned that Lisa Robertson was an I'm A Celeb possible contestant. The story now is that she has been axed, supposedly because of protests from local Australians. It also seems the bosses think that an ex vice girl could give the programme (and the area) a bad reputation, or something like that. You can read more about Lisa here

The producers supposedly still haven't finalised the line up and a few newer names have been thrown into the melting pot.

The general feeling is that the following may now well be in the line up: Marc Bannerman (ex Eastenders Gianni Di Marco), Janice Dickinson (ex super model), Rodney Marsh (ex England footballer and now football pundit), Anna Ryder Richardson (designer), Jason 'J' Brown (from the band 5ive) plus ones we have previously mentioned: Gemma Atkinson, Katie Hopkins, Malcolm McLaren, Fred (and now perhaps Richard as well) Fairbrass and Koo Stark.

The spies in Australia reckon that Marc Bannerman, Anna Ryder Richardson and Katie Hopkins are already in the country.

The Koorana Crocodile Farm in Coowonga have told of their connection with I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!

The farm boss, Lilian Lever, said, "We do supply bits of the crocs for the television show but I can't say more than this."

By bits they mean ... well the rumour is that they have supplied 12 crocodile penises to be 'enjoyed' by the contestants! Could be interesting!

It's now said that Ingrid Tarrant is amongst those heading for the jungle. The hope is that she'll dish the dirt on her separation from Chris.

It's All Steam Ahead At Dungay Creek

We wrote about how there were possible problems at the I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! camp. We are pleased now to report that, as expected, Dungay Creek, Murwillumbah, New South Wales, Australia is now okay.

It seems that the pollution, caused by mosquito sprays, has now been sorted so the likes of Gemma Atkinson can swim, shower and generally get other contestants steamed up.

The Daily Star today reckons that one of the trials will be a 'jungle sewer' and as the unlucky contestant searches for stars they will have to unblock pipes. And inside the pipes? Yes, it's spiders, toads, snakes, flies and so on. It'll be interesting to see which contestant the public hates enough to want him or her to endure this. It seems Katie Hopkins isn't too popular with the general public at the moment, but things can change rapidly once everyone is settled in the camp.

I'm A Celeb Line Up Get Ready For Crocodiles

Their are promises of new trials for the contestants of the next I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!

An I'm A Celeb source said, "We are into our seventh series and so we need to keep the contestants and the viewers on their toes. We have come up with new and exciting trials. We've also planned some psychological games. We are confident that this is going to be the best ever jungle show. We've got a real mixed bag of oddballs."

Not long to go now, everything blasts off on November 12th. Officially the line up for the show will be revealed next week. In the meantime we can speculate.

As for the trials, we are being promised one where a contestant will be dropped into a tank containing crocodiles, snakes and eels. As usual, who ever it is, will have to find stars for food before their air runs out.

Ant And Dec Winners With Gemma Atkinson

Though this blog is about the 2007 I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! it was good to see Ant and Dec winning last night at the National Television Awards. They were winners as Entertainment Presenters and also for Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway.

I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! won the Reality Show category so that should be a good boost for the forthcoming series which starts on November 12th.

The girl getting the most advance publicity for the next I'm A Celeb series is Gemma Atkinson. Can't thin why!

Is this a possible winner before the series even starts?

Gemma reckons that following her stint in the jungle she will be off to Nashville to record her very first album. She got the recording deal following her appearance on Soapstar Superstar.

It's Not Delia Smith!

Delia Smith has said that rumours that she may be joining the next I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! are completely false.

Delia's agent, Debbie Owen said on her behalf, "I don't know who's running this story but it's so funny. She gets approached all the time to do things like Celebrity Big Brother. I cannot remember if they (the producers of I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!) approached her but it's just not her in anyway. It's not the sort of thing she would ever consider doing."

That's the thing about I'm A Celeb they stoke up the gossip and create a buzz but ITV won't actually release the name of the contestants until the day the programme goes out - November 12th. Until then we have to try and read between the lines.

Katie Hopkins Needs Some Jungle Work

One of the named 'possibles' for the next I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!, as we mentioned yesterday, is Katie Hopkins. Here's a little more info on her.

Katie is from Barnstaple in Devon, born May 31st 1976, and was a contestant on the reality show The Apprentice. Though one of the favourites to win the she famously left the show in week eleven before Sir Alan Sugar could say, "You're fired!"

Though she did well on Apprentice it became obvious that what she really hankered for was to be in the public eye. She's had her wish, in a way, and has made numerous media appearances. The jungle could give her the helping hand to take her fame to the next level.

She did manage a certain notoriety when she had a fling with a married man, Mark Cross, and photographs of her and her lover making love were splashed across the tabloids

Katie Hopkins is full of confidence and is in the style of Carol Thatcher in some ways. She's a tough cookie and knows what she wants. Katie also needs the work as she was fired by the Exeter Express and Echo earlier this month. Readers didn't want to read her column.

She studied Politics and Economics at Exeter University and has worked as a consultant for such organisations as, Guinness, Reuters, Thomas Financial and Barclays.

Following the rumours and secret reports who have we got so far that are tipped for the next I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!?

Okay, here's a list the names mentioned on the I'm A Celebrity grapevine. The names with links are celebs we have written about so far:

Today the Daily Star Sunday reports that basketball and reality show star Dennis Rodman is on standby to 'cause a rumble in the jungle.' A show source is alleged to have said, "We plan to put him in later - but all of that could change. We like the idea of letting stars settle in camp and then sending in a few people to mix it up."

Presenters Ant and Dec have now jetted out to Australia to prepare for the show - what a tough life they lead!

Chantelle Houghton Signed Up For I'm A Celebrity

The latest buzz on the I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! grapevine is that Chantelle Houghton has been signed up for the next series, starting November 12th.

Chantelle Houghton is the so called Big Brother star who got hitched to fellow housemate Preston of the Ordinary Boys. They are now separated.

Now I don't know how long it takes to recover from a boob job but Chantelle is reported to have said that she wants one before she hits the jungle. She wants to go from a 32B to a 32D and then flash them about. She said, "I want to show Preston exactly what he's missing."

It's also said that she hopes to do a Myleene Klass and show herself off in a string of sexy bikinis.

Chantelle went on to say, "I'm looking for fun, but not a man yet. I'm just planning to flirt with as many guys as possible."

Of course, Chantelle is known as a Paris Hilton look-a-like so this must surely mean that the Jungle rumours about the real Paris either aren't true, or a deal wasn't made. The I'm A Celeb guys must have settled on a substitute!

Is Whirlwind Jimmy White Joining Gemma Atkinson In Australia?

Perhaps not quite as glamorous as Gemma Atkinson (okay nowhere near as glamorous!) but another kind of whirlwind is being talked about as a possible I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! contestant. This time it's the man known as the People's Champion, Jimmy White - of snooker fame.

James (Jimmy) Warren White was born on May 2nd, 1962 and has had a professional snooker career spanning some 20+ years. He has five children with ex-wife Maureen White and was awarded an MBE in 1999.

Wonder what skills he could take to the jungle?

Buddhist Koo Stark Heading For Jungle?

Another of the rumoured I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! contestants is Koo Stark, but would she really do such a programme?

Koo was mainly famous for two things: being the lover of Prince Andrew in the early 80's and for her controversial part in the 1976 erotic film Emily. This includes an infamous shower scene of Koo with another woman.

Koo Stark was born 26th of April, 1956 and was named as Kathleen Dee-Anne Norris. She is the daughter of American film producer Wilbur Stark and Kathi Norris. She has a daughter born in 1996, Tatiana, the father being Warren Walker, a millionaire banker.

Stark lives in London, with her daughter, and in 2002 was diagnosed with breast cancer which resulted in an emergency mastectomy. Her second breast had to be removed in 2003. Because of this she founded a cancer awareness agency Keep Abreast.

Koo Stark is a practicing Buddhist and is now a photographer.

Gemma Atkinson Has Packed Her Bikini For The Jungle

The buzz is that Gemma Atkinson will be joining the I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! contestants in the jungle.

Gemma is the ex Hollyoaks actress, she played the part of Lisa Hunter. She is also the ex girlfriend of the Manchester United footballer Cristiano Ronaldo. According to Sexy Celebrities she ended the relationship when she discovered he was off out with hookers!

Gemma Atkinson said, "I did go out with Cristiano, but it all ended when he was caught with prostitutes. Neither did he dump me, nor did I dump him – it just sort of ended. Now I’m seeing someone else, who is semi-famous."

Gemma was born November 16th, 1984 in Bury, Greater Manchester. As well as Hollyoaks she also appeared in a spin-off series Hollyoaks: Let Lose. Gemma is now known mostly as a glamour model. In 2006 she underwent breast enlargement surgery to make her a 34F. No doubt she will look very pleasing under the jungle shower!

She has appeared in several men's magazines such as FHM, Zoo and Nuts and recently was seen promoting La Senza lingerie.

All in all, providing the rumours are true, Gemma should become a favourite with most of the male I'm A Celeb watchers.

As we told you here last year's winner Matt Willis, and his fiancé, Emma Griffiths, will present ITV2’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Now!

Matt and Emma will give the latest news from the camp and Mark Durden-Smith will be fronting the UK bits.

Mark said, "I am very excited to be catching my fourth dose of virulent jungle fever and looking forward to watching the erotic sparks fly between ITV2's very own Richard and Judy, Matt and Emma."

Malcolm McLaren Is Getting Jungle Cold Feet

We said that Malcolm McLaren had been rumoured to have signed up for I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!

It now appears this was the case but he has changed his mind - not that it will be any great loss! An I'm A Celeb person says, "We are doing all we can to keep him. It's touch and go as to whether he'll be in the final line up now."

They say Malcolm has had second thoughts about the Bushtucker Trials and isn't too keen about being stuck with a load of celebs. Wonder why he didn't think about that before saying he would take part?

Problems At The I'm A Celebrity Camp Site

There's a slight problem with the next UK I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! it's reported that the area where it is held has been poisoned!

The camp site, which is in Dungay Creek in the New South Wales rain forest, has been contaminated by some toxic substance, probably insecticide. Local residents have been told to avoid the area and to keep out of the water. Would this mean no Myleene Klass type moments in the shower?!

An ITV chappie said, "Dungay Creek runs through the land where I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! is filmed. Investigations are ongoing but the show will be going ahead as planned."

The likely cause of the problem is that nearby vegetation has been sprayed with insecticide and this has got into the water accidently.

There's one thing for sure, though, I'm A Celebrity will be on our screens from November 12th.

Cerys Matthews Says It's Not A Jungle Fact

Cerys Matthews, or Cerys Elizabeth Philip Matthews to be precise, has denied tabloid reports that she will appear on the November I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!

The former Catatonia frontwoman, aged 38, has recently returned to Wales after divorcing her music producer husband.

Cerys said, "Well, I am now divorced. I've not done an interview about it. What am I meant to say? I was always going to come back. It's a long way from Pembrokeshire to Nashville. The pull for me was my children and the freedom they have here. In Nashville I was always an immigrant with two young children. I really did love it, I was at home there as an adult. I would have stayed, but I didn't feel ready for my children to not have the same background as me."

When asked about I'm A Celebrity Cerys Matthews answered, "Everyone asks me this. It's not a fact. I'm not on the blinking 'dancing with the stars' thing and they said I was going to be on there as well. I've only been in the country three days and they've got me on every single show."

So there you go, from the horses mouth so to speak. Cerys says she isn't heading for the jungle despite newspaper reports that she has been signed up and is ready to munch on those kangaroo 'thingies'.

Time will tell.

Celebrity Phone Votes Scandal Plus Myleene Klass Photos

The I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! news today is really the fall out from the 2006 series. By this I mean the ITV scandal regarding phone votes.

In the November 2006 vote, when Myleene Klass was a contestant, SMS votes closed three-and-a-half minutes early. This meant that any votes cast during this period would have been charged for but not counted or included in the result.

This was supposedly caused by a human error and affected about 7% of the votes made. We are told that this would not have made any difference to the final outcome of the show. It was simply a case of voters wasting their money - refunds will be made.

Let's hope all of this will have no bearing on the 2007 series starting next month.

What all of this does do, though, is to give a good excuse for including snatched photos of Myleene Klass having a shower in the 2006 I'm A Celebrity!

Malcolm McLaren Rumoured To Appear With Paris Hilton

The Daily Star, when writing about Paris Hilton today, says, 'Paris, who is being lined up for I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! is turning an upcoming trip to Rwanda into a reality show. She will be followed by a film crew on a five day mercy mission visiting schools and clinics in the war ravaged country.'

So perhaps her appearance in I'm a Celebrity is a real possibility.

Also rumoured to be appearing is Malcolm McLaren, aged 61. Guess he thinks if John Lydon can do it so can he. Malcolm is the ex Sex Pistols supremo. Not quite as glamorous as Paris though!
